The Science of Well-Being Lab (SWB Lab) is a research laboratory designed for the study of the interrelationships between all of the factors that lead to well-being, and the development of practical strategies for the cultivation of well-being in the world, a society, a community, and an individual. Our ongoing research projects all focus on social relationships, positive emotions and positive psychology. These projects typically use multiple methods, and involve neural and behavioral measures. Thank you for exploring the possibility of becoming involved in the Social, Affective & Positive Neuroscience Laboratory. The success of this laboratory depends upon the involvement of bright and motivated undergraduates, graduates and visiting scholars, and we welcome your interest in this laboratory.
